Technologies have designed a two-way speaker that
sounds like a three way system. No longer do you
have to listen to the typical two-way speaker with a
giant gaping hole in the midrange. You can now have
true high fidelity, “High Resolution” sound with the
VMAX series. You’ll be amazed by the transparency,
clarity and definition of the sound with the VMAX
speakers. We’ve included two high quality
microphone preamps with 40db of gain trim allowing
each of the mic inputs to be used as a microphone or
line input and a separate third channel input
dedicated for line input signals. A link output on
each VMAX speaker provides the ability to sum two
cabinets giving you four mono microphone inputs
without the need for an external mixer and you can
still feed a stereo signal into the remaining line
inputs. Multiple VMAX speakers can be linked in
parallel for the bigger venues. The VMAX12 and
VMAX15 can both be pole mounted on stands or on top
of any of the ISP active subwoofers. With its unique
angled design, the VMAX can be used either as a
floor monitor or a top box offering extra
versatility and value. While most speakers in its
price range use a plastic box, which cannot
reproduce any deep bass, the VMAX is made from wood
and covered with black carpet. The VMAX12XL has a
12” woofer and 2” high frequency horn and the
VMAX15XL uses a 15” woofer and 2” high frequency
horn. To make sure the system delivers optimal
performance even when being pounded to its maximum
limits, we have included a sophisticated distortion
limiting circuit. The distortion limiter uses a
studio quality voltage controlled amplifier for
noise free, low distortion performance. We have also
included a unique over temperature control that
reduces the limiter threshold. This allows the
cabinet to play at a reduced level until a safe
operating temperature is reached. This means that
even if you drive the cabinet to the thermal limit
it will never shut down in your performance. One
