Summer NAMM 2005

ISP Technologies rocked out at the Indianapolis Summer NAMM show.  The show started off rocky because of some shipping issues, but the great guys at Freeman saved the day and our booth was up and ready to go on time.  Thanks again guys (you know who you are)!

With new products in both the Pro Audio and Guitar Product lines, ISP attracted MI dealers, Pro Audio dealers and contractors.   We met many dealers and local contractors who had never been to a NAMM show before.  The contractors and Pro Audio dealers were very interested in the 4215 4-way line array cabinets and the new Mongooseä GSL 12 ground stackable line array.  ISP also created big excitement with the contractors with our custom design service.  ISP Technologies will custom design speakers to enhance any venues’ unique acoustics.  No other company is currently providing this feature.  Add to this the fact that all of our cabinets are powered, and the ease of installation was also apparent.  Our cabinets can be hung or stacked, set, then plugged in…no tons of wires to be fed and run, no external amp racks to set that can be tampered with…like one of our biggest contractors, Tim Hill of Sound Hill Technologies always says, “ISP Technologies cabinets are the best sounding cabinets out there and are the easiest installs I do.  I spec ISP in all my churches, nightclubs and other venues I rig.  If they don’t take ISP, I know the job will take twice as long and be more headaches for me later when someone comes along and fools with the amp racks and such.  ISP is the way to go, best sounding gear, highest fidelity, great price and easiest install.  You can’t beat it!”

We had similar excitement from our MI dealers and guitar players.  Everyone wanted to see and hear the Vector SLä Active Guitar Subwoofer and the Decimator ProRackGä and Decimator Pedalä.   The metal guys were blown away with the Vector SL and its internal 600-WATT RMS Active 15-inch subwoofer that delivers more deep, low end punch than any other guitar subwoofer cabinet available. The VECTOR SL subwoofer extends your bottom end all the way down to 45Hz delivering enough low-end bass to match the frequency response of any 7-string guitar. Tune down as far as you want and the VECTOR SL continues to perform.  The Decimator products attracted attention from not only the guitar players, but also bass players, keyboard players and even harmonica players!  The Decimator ProRackG is a combination of a downward expander and a dynamic filter, which makes this the new benchmark in real time noise reduction. No gates here!  Christian Wolbers of Fear Factory, who endorses the Decimator says, “This is the most superior noise reduction system I have ever played through. When I want my guitar to act tight it's tight, with no signal loss or tone change, no clipping like my previous unit. When I want the guitars to ring out I can still have my feedback. My tech doesn't have to turn my gate off any more to get the desired feedback… the unit detects if I am playing tight or open. It takes away all that annoying hum you get from high gain amplifiers. I mean to put it simple, I could not do a show with my Decimator! This unit is as important to me as my signature guitar and my amps… If you wanna play tight like Fear Factory? There's only one remedy "The Decimator!"

As if all of that didn’t generate enough interest at our booth, Johnny Hiland, another Decimator endorser came by the booth, plugged in and attracted traffic stopping crowds!  Management wasn’t too happy with us but the fans sure were appreciative!  Johnny is an amazing guitar player who really tears it up!  We thank Johnny for gracing us with his presence!  All in all, the show was awesome.  It is always great to see old friends and make new ones.  See you all in Anaheim in January.
