SOMBER is a 5-piece old school/new school rock band out of northeast Pennsylvania. Since their inception in late 2005, they have been a force to be heard in the Pennsylvania music scene. Hailed to be the next best rock act out of Pennsylvania, the guys in the band work hard to bring a totally original style to the party. Their mix of crazy guitar work, killer drums and outstanding vocals is matched by no other. SOMBER’s 1st album, One Step Away from Nothing recorded in early 2006, captured radio play right. The SOMBER song Destiny was ranked number one two weeks in a row and led the SOMBER website, www.somberrrocks.com, to accumulate over 10,000 hits in a matter of a week! The song also aired on National TV for a documentary on troops in the war in Iraq. The song spread like wildfire and the guys received letters from as far away as Brazil. The hits keep on coming and SOMBER is about to hit the studio again to record a 4 track self titled EP that is awaiting to be heard by some top A&R reps.
