The ISP Technologies GLA™2806 Line Array Speaker is a new extremely high performance small format 2-way “true” line array cabinet with “gapless” summation of the line array elements. The new GLA2806 provides line array performance at an unheard of price point. Now venues looking for a small format line array can have a true high fidelity, high performance line array system without the associated high price. All multi-box line array systems suffers from a gap between the individual elements of the line array which can cause response errors due to the spacing between the drivers. In many designs this will cause both frequency and phase errors in the response which means the sound will change based on the seating position in the room. The GLA2806 system delivers all the advantages of a true line array system but with a new level of precision summation between the internal components and with the same mid-range clarity and definition that ISP has become known for. The GLA2806 provides a 48-degree vertical by 110-degrees horizontal pattern with extremely smooth summation between the internal elements. The GLA2806 is a powered bi-amplified design featuring ISP Technologies patented DAA Dynamic Adaptive Amplifier technology. The new DAA power amplifier delivers efficiency close to that of Class D but with class A/B sonic performance for both the best and warmest sound possible.
