Johnny Hiland Endorses Decimator Pedal
ISP Welcomes Johnny Hiland.
ISP Technologies, Inc. is pleased to welcome Johnny Hiland
as one of our newest product endorsees for the Decimator
Pedal.
Originally from Woodland Maine, 28-year-old Johnny Hiland,
is one of the most critically acclaimed young artists to
stir legendary Lower Broadway in Nashville, the nation’s
music city. Blending his unique hybrid style of blazing
chicken pickin’ with influences set in country, rock and
blues styles of the guitar heroes of his generation and
those who came before, Hiland has established a major
industry buzz. Johnny is currently in preproduction with
renowned producer Peter Collins for his first Favored
Nations Entertainment solo album clearly identifying him as
a major force in style and innovation. As an incredible live
performer, session player, solo recording artist/songwriter,
and master class instructor, Hiland has begun to leave his
unmistakable mark on the sound of guitar.
Johnny has been using ISP’s Decimator Pedal and talking it
up for quite some time now, so it is great to have him
officially on board. Thanks to Johnny using our Decimator at
a show in Italy last year, ISP has now picked up an Italian
Distributor. Johnny also played at the ISP booth for Winter
Namm 2004 and was mobbed. He drew a huge crowd as he ran
through some of his tunes. Signing autographs and CD’s,
Johnny made everyone he talked to feel like a million bucks.
Johnny’s Decimator pedal incorporates ISP’s patent pending
Time Vector Processing. Due to this novel approach in
controlling the expander, the Decimator system will
instantly respond to short staccato notes and, at the same
time, will provide a very slow ripple free control of long
sustained notes. This means that the Decimator noise
reduction system is the most transparent and highest
performance noise reduction system available. The Decimator
Pedal is extremely easy to use; simply inset the Decimator
at the end of your chain of existing pedals or, insert the
Decimator Pedal in the effects loop of your amplifier to
clean up the noise present at the amplifier input as well as
