ISP Travels to the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Convention

Press Release
Phoenix, Arizona
July 2004

“A fresh new breeze is blowing upon the landscape and God is using conventions, congresses, conferences, and communications to take the Church to a new level.” ISP Technologies, Inc. fully agrees with this assessment and understands that the basic foundation to building communications is sound. You must be able to clearly, intelligibly and loudly hear the message that is being spoken. God’s Word deserves to be heard in this fashion and that is why ISP Technologies has created the highest fidelity speakers on the market.  With this in mind, when invited to participate at the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Convention in Phoenix, Arizona by Tim Hill (of Sound Hill Technologies), ISP gladly accepted. Sound Hill Technologies hosted two venues at the Convention.

The Convention was held in the Phoenix Civic Plaza and consisted of several venues, one of which was the 800-1000 seat ballroom in the Hyatt Regency Hotel. This was the room that was to host several meetings, services and speakers, which included many prominent Bishops. ISP Technologies was selected by Tim Hill to outfit this venue. In what was a very wide set floor plan, ISP choose to bring their new Reference Line 4215™ 4-way line array boxes and the XMAX212™ 1000 watt Folded Horn Subwoofers. The true 4-way line array boxes with the dual 15” woofers provide a warmth and weight to the sound that other small line array systems do not achieve. The four 8” drivers perfectly handle the upper bass/lower midrange. The two 4” compression midrange drivers provide complete clarity to the voice. The two 1.75” high frequency drivers provide sweet, extended highs. The Reference Line 4215 boxes also provide 120 degree horizontal by 65 degree vertical coverage. Two XMAX 212™ 1000 Watt Folded Horn Subwoofers were also brought in for extended bass support in the room. With 1000 watts RMS power that is forced air cooled, these woofers with the 2-12” Kevlar reinforced cones and 160oz magnet structures all but brought the house down. With a frequency response from 35Hz to 100Hz, no one using the room had to ask for “more bass.” Every deep, bottom end note was registered with more feeling than could be imagined.

The results of the set up were amazing. The line array boxes were hung from 10’ custom designed display stands with the subwoofers snuggly underneath. Placed at what was really wider than anticipated sides of the room, the set-up still performed unequivocally. In fact, because the driver positioning and crossover frequencies on the Reference Line 4215 have been carefully balanced to provide extraordinarily smooth response throughout the coverage area there was no problem with holes in the listening pattern. Each seat in the room had the same sound. People were amazed that they could stand in the back of the room in the center, and walk all the way to the stage and have the exact same sound and excellent pattern coverage. ISP was approached by many Pastors to inquire about this kind of sound in their Houses of Worship. Many were astounded by the fact that ISP offers not only CUSTOM DESIGNED SYSTEMS for Houses of Worship of any size but at a price point that is well within any budget. ISP Technologies is serious in its desire to bring the best sounding systems to your House of Worship.
