2001-09-22 - Rocktron Technologies Sold
Rocktron Corporation has been sold. James Waller, founder
and President of Rocktron Corporation, has sold the assets
of the company. Taking the core engineering design team with
him, Waller created ISP Technologies, Incorporated. The same
talented DSP and analog designers that kept Rocktron
cranking for 17 years have joined ISP to keep alive the
tradition of cutting edge technology. “In this business, if
you don’t have the technology, you don’t have the product,”
Waller said. “The same guys who designed the HUSH,
Intellifex and Chameleon are right back at it for ISP. We
will make our presence known in several audio markets and,
as always, the focus of ISP will be cutting edge technology
and digital signal processing.”
ISP will be entering the MI market with a full line of
guitar products, amplifiers and pro audio equipment. Under
the Waller Amplification brand name, the first line of
amplifiers will be released. The G MAX 65 and G MAX 100 are
headed to production with the patent pending Decimator Noise
Reduction System which provides absolute silence with
maximum gain and sustain. No amps will give you more gain,
sustain and tone than the G MAX 65. “If you can find a
better sounding amp, buy it!” said Waller. “The Decimator
Noise Reduction System takes noise reduction to the next
step. Having been the original inventor and patent holder of
the HUSH noise reduction technology I can honestly say the
Decimator has a more innovative technological approach to
noise reduction. The Decimator has sonically superior
transparency and more effective noise reduction.”
Immediately following the G MAX Series release, the line
will be further enhanced by the release of the DFX Series of
G MAX amplifiers. The G MAX DFX Series will include DSP
effects processing with a very unique and innovative
approach.
