Tri-Power™ Cabinets shipping with D-CAT™.
It’s D-CAT’s meow…ISP Technologies has begun shipping their
new Tri-Power 15” and 12” speaker cabinets. The Tri-Power
15” cabinets are 700 watt, 3 way speaker systems with ruler
flat response. They use a 400 watt 15” woofer, a 300
watt 10” midrange speaker, and a 2” compression driver. The
Tri-Power 12” cabinets are 500 watts utilizing a 12” woofer,
8” midrange, and a high frequency driver. You won’t find any
wimpy 6” speakers in either cabinet!
The Tri-Power cabinets also incorporate the D-CAT amplifier
technology, which greatly contributes to the amazing sonic
punch and high impact transient response while offering
unmatched reliability and clarity. The D-CAT amplifiers
deliver extremely high output current and are capable of
driving low impedances of 1 ohm or less. The Tri-Power
cabinets are fully protected and bullet proof, including
full thermal protection for both the amplifiers and power
transformer.
For the first time, a speaker is available that offers true
HI-FI sound quality for high SPL (Sound Pressure Level) live
sound. The speakers include 4th order, 24db per octave
crossover for low, mid and high crossover points and also
include optimized phase correction. All components for this
innovative system, including the Baltic birch cabinet,
speakers, amplifiers, power supplies and crossovers, have
been painstakingly matched for optimum performance. ISP
