ISP Technologies Heads West to Faith Christian Center
Faith Christian Center Church, established in 1929,
continued to grow along with the then small logging town of
Bend, Oregon. The current location was chosen in 1968, at
Tenth and Greenwood and the original sanctuary, which is now
the gymnasium, was built. As the church grew, additions for
offices, the Fellowship Hall and sanctuary overflow were
added. In 1978,
the Church continued to grow and the new building was
completed. In September of 2006, Pastor Mike Johnson
decided that the sound should be upgraded to keep up with
changing services and growing membership. It was at this
point that Pastor Johnson contacted Tony Sprando of Audio
Visual Presentations.
Audio Visual Presentations, one of ISP Technologies newer contractors, has been providing excellent service in both Audio Video sales and rentals and in providing turnkey solutions to Houses of Worship, resorts, hotels, schools and government agencies since 1999. ISP was happy to have AVP on board as they have the same high standard of customer service that ISP has and with each sale AVP creates the marketing, personally visits the customer, finalizes the sale and manages the project from installation to finish. Based in Bend, Oregon, they were a natural choice for Faith Christian to rely on. Because the building of Faith Christian was an octagonal shape, this provided a challenge to upgrade their system to one that would actually cover the whole sanctuary, including a wrap around balcony. After researching the many options available, Audio Visual Presentations decided an ISP Technologies system would be the best solution to the many problems the building design created. The RL4215 line arrays are a dual element 4-way active system designed using ISP’s proprietary LineSim software. The Reference Line 4215 is just one of ISP Technologies 4-way active line array systems but the RL4215 system was designed primarily for houses of worship applications. ISP offers the only true 4-way line array technology offering stunning improvements in clarity, definition and transparency. Knowing that ISP would custom design boxes, mathematically choose the best hang points, and send in licensed riggers when needed, convinced AVP that ISP had customer service second to none.
With the input of the engineers at ISP, Tony Sprando choose two Reference Line 4215’s, two High Definition Monitor 112’s and two XMAX 212 folded horn subwoofers for the 500 seat sanctuary.
Using the proprietary LinesSym Modeling, ISP engineers defined the perfect hang points for these speakers. Known for their clarity, mid-range and fidelity, they provided both Audio Visual Presentations and Faith Christian Center with the type of system they had been hoping for. As Tony Sprando said “The sound? Welllllllll……….. IT ROCKS! IT’S AWESOME! AND THE CHURCH LOVES IT.”
With the complexity of the hang, ISP recommended one of their Professional Installation Network riggers to help out with the hang. BC Sound of Battle Creek, Michigan flew out to assist AVP in the rigging portion of the job.
The church echoed this sentiment in saying: “It is our pleasure to highly recommend Audio Visual and Tony Sprando. In September, after accessing our needs, he put together a preliminary study that showed the best performance sound system needed to upgrade our church's sound. And at a price that was well within our budget.
He researched and believed in the system he recommended. Upon completion of the work, we immediately noticed the overall clarity, and even tone through out the church sanctuary was improved.
The speakers were hung professionally and esthetically compliment our sanctuary décor. There were many compliments on the friendliness of the ISP Technologies group from Michigan (Battle Creek). They made a difficult job seem effortless because of their professionalism.
Please know that we have no reservations about recommending Audio Visual and Tony's outstanding and effective abilities.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact our office or better yet come by the church and experience the wonderful sound system.”
