While many companies have decided to manufacture off
shore, ISP Technologies, LLC has made the decision to
continue to manufacture the majority of their products
in the USA. With their own on-site wood shop, ISP hand
builds all of the cabinets for our pro audio gear and
the guitar gear using Baltic Birch plywood. It is
because of this that ISP can custom design and build
speakers based on the venue and not have a one size fits
all type line. The circuit boards are also designed,
stuffed, soldered and tested in house which gives
quality control a whole new meaning.
Because all of the amp modules and cabinets are built in
Waterford, Michigan, ISP Technologies Customer Service
is second to none. If a problem arises or another amp
module or cabinet is needed, we can accommodate our
customers in a very quick fashion. If there are any
technical questions, a qualified tech. is a phone call
away, and don’t be surprised if you get the CEO, James
Waller, himself!
“While we know we could get some things produced cheaper
overseas, we see a growing problem with logistics and
some quality issues. We just feel more comfortable
controlling our production and knowing exactly what we
are shipping to our customers.” Said Waller. “With the
exception of our pedals, which are produced in China, we
like to know firsthand the quality and timing of our
goods.” Even though the pedals are produced offshore
they undergo a complete quality check once they arrive
at ISP to confirm they pass the rigorous ISP quality
standards before being shipped.
