For years the sound reinforcement industry has had a single purpose:  To achieve the perfect sound.  ISP has made that perfect sound a reality.  Introducing the VMAX contractor series, a line of high value, high quality speakers that will impress even the most selective professional.  Since its inception, ISP Technologies has worked tirelessly to develop the finest speakers and PA systems on the market.  Using years of experience, our engineering staff has designed the VMAX line, the first 2-way active system without compromising quality or performance.  We guarantee that the active 2-way VMAX series will outlast and outperform any similar speaker on the market today.  The VMAX delivers incredible highs and booming lows, while giving the ear a mid-range sound previously unheard of in a 2-way system.  The engineers at ISP Technologies have designed a 2-way speaker that sounds like a 3-way system.  No longer do you have to listen to the typical 2-way speaker with a giant gaping hole in the midrang.  You can now have true high fidelity, "High Resolution" sound with the VMAX series.  You'll be amazed by the transparency, clarity and definition of the sound with the VMAX speakers.  We've included two high quality microphone preamps with 40 dB of gain trim allowing each of the mic inputs to be used as a mirophone or line input and a separate third channel input dedicated for line input signals.  A link ouput on each VMAX speaker provides the ability to sum two cabinets giving you four mono microphone inputs without the need for an external mixer and you can still feed a stereo signal into the remaining line inputs.  Multiple VMAX speakers can be linked in parallel for the bigger venues.  While most speakers in its price range use a plastic box, which cannot reproduce any deep bass, the VMAX is made from 13-ply Baltic birch and then sprayed with a vortex polyurea finish.  The VMAX 15XL uses a 15' woofer and 2' high frequency horn.  To make sure the system delivers optimal performance even when being pounded to its maximum limits, we have included a sophisticated distortion limiting circuit.  The distortion limiter uses a studio quality voltage controlled amplifier for noise free, low distorion performance.  We have also included a unique over temperature control that reduces the limiter threshold.  This allows the cabinet to play at a reduced level until a safe operating temperature is reached.  This means that even if you drive the cabinet to the thermal limit it will never shut down during your performance.
