Bridgewood Church Switches Gear

It is hard to believe that Bridgewood Church in Clarkston, Michigan has only been in existence since 2002.  This beautiful church had its humble beginnings in a small white building with only 12 members.  Only one year later, they were informed they would have to relocate due to a road coming through their property.  With the meager proceeds of the sale, Bridgewood Church took a leap of faith and their 40 members and proceeded to pray fully build Phase I of their new building on a lovely 12 acre parcel of land.

Since the decision to move was made, Bridgewood membership jumped to 200 people and continued to grow.  Phase I was started in 2004 and completed in 2005 and is approximately 20,000 square feet, including an upper level Administrative Suite complete with 7 offices, reception area, workstations and large conference room.  The Spiritual Life Center seats 350 people and more than half of the campus is creatively designed for children and students.  Bridgewood Church is designed with most of the infrastructure already in place to expand quickly as they continue to grow. This is where ISP Technologies came in.  When ISP Technologies learned of Bridgewood’s expansion, we contacted the church and asked if we could do a demo for them.  ISP  particularly loves working with churches where the spoken word needs to be as clear as the praise and worship portion of the service.

After hearing our LT2’s, which are 1000 watt, 3 way active, vertical hang micro line series boxes and our VMAX 12XL active floor monitors, they were sold on the idea of using ISP Technologies.  The only draw back was that they had promised their Sanctuary, the Spiritual Life Center, to another contractor but we were happy to be installed in their Crave Student performance room which was set up with a stage and lighting for live performances and in the large group meeting room.  With the Sanctuary installed with one of the most commonly known major brand name systems, ISP humbly had our LT2’s hung in the other areas of the church.  Pastor Shawn, Worship Pastor, called ISP immediately after the boxes were up and said, “We have a problem!”  Concerned, we rushed over to ascertain what was wrong.  Pastor Shawn informed us that the “problem” was that the youth performance room and large group room sounded better than the Sanctuary!

Within a week of hanging the major brand name speakers in the Sanctuary, Bridgewood took them down, returned them and outfitted the Sanctuary with ISP Technologies speakers.  Pastor Shawn had this to say, “ISP has literally shocked me.  The fidelity is remarkable.  The richness and warmth of the sound has impressed our greatest skeptics.  We have outfitted the whole church campus with ISP and everyone is delighted with the performance of these speakers, especially the youth. I could rave all day long about what ISP has blessed us with.”   Bridgewood Church continues to grow and their goal is to complete the final master plan by early 2006 that will include a larger Spiritual Life Center, a Global focus Outreach Center, an expanded Crave student facility and an expanded environment for the Fit for Life and Life Groups.  ISP Technologies is committed to providing any additional performance enhancement that may be required through the final phase of Bridgewood Church’s development.  For more information on the LT2 Micro-Line Array, VMAX 12XL or any other speakers or products, please visit our website at www.isptechnologies.com or call ISP Technologies at 248-673-7790.
