DOLL SKIN EP

David Ellefson is most known as the co-founding bassist of Thrash Metal titans, MEGADETH. As a member of the group, he has sold over 30 million records worldwide, garnered 11 Grammy nominations and countless gold and platinum records in his 30+ year career.

Ellefson is also an accomplished clinician and author, having published his autobiography “My Life With Deth” (Simon & Schuster) and a music business book “Making Music Your Business…A Guide For Young Musicians” (Hal Leonard) and continues to lecture on a variety of subjects in Spoken Word events worldwide.

More recently, David has been discovering amazing new talent in his backyard of Scottsdale, AZ. One night, when being a celebrity judge for his son’s high school, he was blown away by the sheer force and intent of the “cute, but scary” Glitter Punk band DOLL SKIN (www.dollskinband.com). Ellefson said, “The band are absolutely terrific. They have an amazing sound, look and charisma that just blows audiences away!”

In June 2015, Ellefson took the band under his wing to produce their debut EP “In Your Face”, recorded at The Platinum Underground studio in Mesa, AZ, with engineering direction from owner John Aquilino. “John’s facility will absolutely blow you away. It’s a world-class facility, located 30 feet underground, and goes head-to-head with the finest studios in the world”, said Ellefson. “The tones we got on the DOLL SKIN record at The Platinum Underground took the band to a whole new level and ISP Technologies’ equipment was a huge part of that journey. Fully stocked with the most state of the art tools, the ISP Technologies gear and studio is best in class for recording right in our own backyard.

With the DOLL SKIN EP ready to release on Megaforce Records October 30, ISP Technologies stands alongside the band in their quest for global domination of its Glitter Punk mission. Stay tuned for more from this fantastic young band, poised to rock their way into your heart, and record collection!
